Abdul Kisakye: Head of Operations, Uganda
Pastor of the local Baptist Church which has close links throughout the Mityana Community, Kisakye is the visionary behind much of Esuubi’s work. He is a highly trustworthy individual with a massive passion for helping the neediest children in any way that he can. In addition to being ultimately responsible for all of Esuubi’s operations in Uganda, his reporting, ideas and heart for the children of Uganda ensure that Esuubi are always working in the best interests of Mtyana.
Bosha John Bosco
A site planner by trade, John Bosco drew up the designs for the new Ekiwumulo. His role as part of the Esuubi committee includes ensuring that Esuubi is operating in a sustainable and culturally apropriate manner.
Winnie Kisakye: Health & Children’s Co-ordinator
Having been working with orphans in Mityana for over ten years, Winnie plays a key role in caring for the children. She is responsible for ensuring communication between the children and the sponsors, helping the children to write letters on a termly basis, as well as advising the UK and Uganda committees on current circumstances.
Balagade Samuel: Education Consultant
A trained teacher, Balagade is heads up Esuubi's educational work in Mityana. He is currently fulfilling the role of Educational Consutant for all Esuubi’s work and Deputy Head of Ekiwumulo School, ensuring that the orphans there receive the best quality education and allowing them to flourish in later life.
A retired banker and respected member of the Mityana Council, Margaret is an influential individual within the town and district. Having joined Esuubi’s Ugandan team in 2008, she has been invaluable in ensuring that Esuubi’s work is truly integrated within the Mityana community.
A builder by trade, Patrick has played a key role in helping to bring the Ekiwumulo dream to fruition. He provides support to all members of the committee to ensure that Esuubi’s projects are implemented effectively.
